The Programs Coordinator manages the Grassroots Arts Project and Regional Artist Project Grants, coordinates the daily operations of the Arts-in-Education program, is responsible for communications to and from the Arts Council via website and email correspondence, interfaces with volunteers and gallery visitors. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, commitment to working on a team, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel computer programs, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, fluid environment. A Bachelor degree is required. Knowledge or passion for the arts in our community are very helpful. Grant writing skills are preferable. The Programs Coordinator reports directly to the Executive Director.
