- Our larger statues may contain as many as 2,000 unique parts, which is why they can take up to a month to build. We obtain our materials from many manufacturing plants in Thailand. Many items for example come from the Ford motor factory and from scrap metal dealers throughout the country. A typical large statue may have spent its previous life as perhaps a car, a boat, a dishwasher and a television and it can be fun trying to guess what certain parts might once have been.
