- About the Artist
- Somewhere along the way, and not knowing how or where this happened…….my creativity was sparked by a watercolor painting.Ten years ago I began my quest as a self-taught artist by gaining instruction in art education classes through Novi Schools. Soon after I discovered a local art club that has regular classes in all mediums. I persued these classes and have learned from numerous local artists such as Edee Joppich, Kay Rowe, Gwen Tomkow, Donna Vogelheim, Lin Baum, Ann Loveland, Marj Chellstorp and Laura Whitesides-Host. I’ve had the priviledge of also taking classes from the internationally known Tom Lynch, Nita Engle, Jane Freeman and Cindy Agan. I will be attending a second workshop with Tom Lynch in October 2007. Keeping myself active in local art groups keeps me inspired.
