Our Mission
The Arrowhead Consumer's Union (ACU) is a community forum, knowledge base and research repository of valuable information. We're dedicated to serving and protecting the consumer while promoting businesses that maintain a high standard of ethics. We also aggressively go after fraudulent business entities and civil & public employees.
To that end, we develop our own innovative software (much of it freely available on our web site and offered as downloads to PHP developers through our open source GNU Public License). A two year project, 'Wall 3 - The Inquisitor (Beta)' is nearing its stable release. WP3 reads legal documents and returns a volume of results to help you better understand what you've read. It grades the document for reading ease by education level and highlights possible loopholes often used by their authors to lock you into an agreement while avoiding their own responsibilities.
As a consumer watchdog, we monitor local, state and federal laws & statutes to insure that they're in the public interest and report when they're not. We also follow up on public officials to see that they stay the course and deliver what they've promised.
