- Aer Rianta International was formed in 1988 as a dedicated international division of the Irish State-owned airports authority, Aer Rianta Cpt., now known as the Dublin Airport Authority. Aer Rianta International has built on over 50 years experience of travel retailing. This experience includes the establishment of the world's first airport duty-free facility at Shannon International Airport and the first international duty-free operation in the former Soviet Union.
