- I have a one woman lampwork and jewelry studio in Burbank, California. All items in the store or auctions are made by me, Darlene Hayes. I am an Aquarian, thus my studio name! I firmly believe, although I am not particularly "into" astrology, that my creative side is due to my sun sign! It is also a big part of my eclectic taste and interest in color mixing. I find colors particularly stimulating and inspiring - and my artwork always begin with a choice of color(s), with the design evolving from there. I have a nortel minor burner (for the lampworking) and use an oxygen/propane system. oooohhh!
