I have been shooting since 1995 but not seriously until 1 year later. My decision to become a photographer stems from my love of nature and the outdoors. Through capturing that specific moment and sharing it, I hope to instill in the viewer the feelings I felt at that time. My images explore the peace, the serenity and the solitude I see in my subject matter. I am experienced in using all forms of cameras from point-and-shoot to large format architectural cameras.

I always enjoy hearing positive comments about my images. It is not an ego thing. It is knowing that I am able to help someone feel a sense of calm when they view my images. The same feeling I had at the time I took the shot. I want to share that. I want to help people feel good. The majority of my images were taken early in the morning. Shortly before or just after sunrise. It is peaceful. It is calm. There isn't a soul around. No distractions. I am one with the environment. The only noise is coming from me... my breathing. I press the shutter release button... "click". The moment is captured. It is mine. Now I share it with you.
