- I was born in Brazil in 1952 and when my father got his chance to fulfill HIS lifetime wish--to move to the USA in 1958--he jumped at it. We moved to Naugatuck, Connecticut where I graduated from Naugatuck High School in 1971. After graduation, I joined the USAF and for 26 years had more fun than a person should be allowed to have. I finished my degree and made it to the top Non-Commissioned Officer grade so I guess you can say that I should now be able to self-actualize.
