- North Antrim Community Network which, is the rural support network for the North Antrim area, developed an information technology project in 1996 to overcome the difficulties of rural isolation and access to information. This innovative project enables community groups to share knowledge through email and web connections. The project has allowed the Network to link 25 of its member groups and provide them with the resource of a full computer system. In addition, the members have their own web page on the Network web site.
