Anglican Chaplaincy Istanbul Turkey
Description
The Anglican Chaplaincy serves as a Christian parish to many different nationals living in Istanbul. The language of the Chaplaincy is English. We also provide facilities for Turkish, Korean, Sri Lankan Tamil, Persian, and Ethopian Amharric speakers. Our purpose is to support persons on the road to salvation within the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. The Anglican Chaplaincy in Istanbul is part of the Archdeaconry of the East of the English Diocese in Europe and is based at the British Consulate-General Istanbul
Our institution in Istanbul for over 400 years has sought to be of service not only to foreigners but to the citizens of Istanbul in general. During the year our institution is one of the key workers in raising money for the charities supported by the British Community Council and, indeed our own charities.
