Chief David L. Ashburn has been with the Angleton Police Department since April of 1998 as the Chief of Police. He has 25 plus years of Law Enforcement experience and started his career with the City of Corsicana as an officer, patrol sergeant and then as Assistant Chief of Police for a total of 12 1/2 years. He moved to Navasota to become Chief of Police for almost 2 1/2 years before moving to Angleton to take the Chief's job.
