- The concept of Angel Advocates was born from the personal experiences of owner Jan Franklin. It was so frustrating to constantly see families who had loved ones in a care facility struggle with the lack of available resources to help them with the added physical and emotional burdens. While there were numerous businesses offering services for in-home care, there was a substantial need for services to help families shoulder the burdens of having a loved one already in, or transitioning to, a care facility. (Care facility definition includes assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and adult foster care homes).
