Welcome to 'The Friendly Club', ANAVETS Assiniboia UNIT #283, on the Internet. Assiniboia Unit #283 of the Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans in Canada is the largest unit of the oldest Veterans Association in North America. The objectives of the ANAVETS are to provide assistance and support to Veterans and their families, to members of the Canadian Armed Forces, and to our community.
We have a lot to offer, including in house Sports Leagues like - Snooker , English Billiards, Darts, Shuffleboard and Cribbage. Come on out every Friday evening for the Sports Meat Draw and on Saturday afternoon for the Unit sponsored Meat draw.
If you like music and like to dance, come out Friday and Saturday evening for live Bands.
Our Units has a Bingo hall and VLT lounge for the Gambler in you. Need to a place to celebrate an event, email us for rental information on one of our halls.
