Angraves Cane Furniture was started by George Angrave and his brother Robert in 1912 for the contract market. Models at this time were hand woven. Then in the 1950’s the company was taken over by Robert Ronald Angrave CBE who developed the business into the retail market through the 60’s and 70’s. The present Directors of the company are Jenny Mobbs, Nigel Angrave and David Angrave who have continued to develop the company.
