- I am based in Raleigh, North Carolina. I graduated from James Madison University in 1999 with a degree from the School of Media Arts and Design, with a concentration in print journalism. In 2001, I moved to Carrboro to study at the Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University. For my project for the Certificate in Documentary Studies, which I completed in June 2003, I photographed at SeeSaw Studio, an after-school program for Durham high school students to learn about design and business. I have also studied at the International Center of Photography in New York City and the Maine Photographic Workshops in Rockport, Maine. My photographs have been exhibited in Carrboro, Chapel Hill, Durham and Norfolk, Va.
