- Welcome to Amazon Acu Adventures LLC. We specialize in trophy peacock bass fishing trips to the remote tributary headwaters of the Santa Isabel-Barcelos region of the upper Rio Negro. Hello, my name is Lance Callero. I was raised in Brazil, speak the language, and have traveled extensively throughout the entire country. Over the last six years I have spent the entire season each year fishing and exploring all of the black water tributaries of the upper Rio Negro, from the Unini to the Marie, concentrating mainly in the Santa Isabel region. Consequently, I have become very familiar with all of these tributaries and the best places to pursue trophy peacock bass in these areas. Our yacht Tayacu has an extremely shallow draft so we have the mobility to quickly access tributaries with the best water levels, even during very low water conditions. Yacht Tayacu is owned and operated by my good friend Marlon Otero. He and all of the guides are from the upper Rio Negro region and are all expert peacock bass fishermen. They have been guiding international anglers in these regions for over ten years. We take only small groups of eight to ten anglers for a more personalized fishing experience and to preserve our fishing areas. We have the logistical knowledge and angling experience to take you to the most remote and secluded tributary headwaters, that see very little if any fishing pressure, for giant peacock bass.
