Bruce Ekimura, owner of Alternate Energy Inc., founded the company in 1993 with his father, after seeing the growing demand and interest in solar water heating installations. The company has grown steadily over the past 17 years and has become a frontrunner in Hawaii’s PV industry
Today, we are proud to be an established locally-owned and operated residential and commercial solar energy company. We are a HECO Approved Contractor (Hawaii Energy Efficiency Program) since 1999, and continue to focus on what we do best: designing and installing PV systems, solar water heating systems.
