- About the Alternative Energy Institute
- The Alternative Energy Institute (AEI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization. AEI is in the midst of a transition toward developing a unique contribution to the creation of a more sustainable world. Historically, AEI's mission has focused on two areas: (1) raising consciousness about the dangers of fossil fuel dependency and the viable alternatives to fossil fuels, and (2) linking consumers with suppliers of alternative energy. We believe that AEI can build upon the good work that it has done in the past and provide a vital service for the future by carving out a unique niche of raising consciousness about community sustainability and encouraging action responses by:
