When Saleen’s Special Projects Group went kaput last year, some of the firm’s management and employees went on to start up a new and innovative automotive business of their own.That’s how Alternative Automotive Technologies LLC of Troy came into being – it’s a six-month-old firm that hopes to pick up where Saleen left off. AAT is even located in the former shop used by Wheel2Wheel, another famous local aftermarket provider that itself went out of business a few years ago.
