- Alpha Lens Rental is a small business venture that started in the summer of 2007. It sprouted from many discussions with folks who wished there was a way to try out some of the many great lenses available to Sony and Minolta DSLR users. Up until August of 2007, no rental company in the United States was offering alpha mount products. At that time, we opened our doors and started renting out lenses to many greatful customers.
