I got my first job as a trainee technician in 1989 working for a car dealership in Central Florida. While there, I worked my way up from the Suzuki car and truck line to the Isuzu car and truck line. I was promoted to the Honda carline quickly. I learned how the right knowledge could further my career and job security. During what some considered a recession, in 1991, I moved to a Honda dealership in an area with a high concentration of retired people.
