- The Notting Hill Alexander Studio is run by Jaana Nykänen and Henrik Jönsson who have completed a three year training under Shoshana Kaminitz at the Victoria Training Course for the Alexander Technique, the sucessor of the training course started by Patrick Macdonald in the 1950's - as well as having spent 1,5 years at a Training Course in Copenhagen, Denmark. They are also frequent visiting teachers at the Victoria training course and are both certified teaching members of the Sociiety of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT).
- Jaana Nykänen, mSTATis trained in lingustics and conflict management and has a long-standing interest in the study of nutrition and the functioning of the human organism. Jaana has thorough experience from within the organic field, and uses her knowledge of this in the study of the Alexander technique, since all aspects of how the environment influences us and how we look after ourselves are equally important for our well-being.
