- As our name and the flags above indicate, our focus is on the global issues, and our headquarters is in the birthplace of Silicon Valley, Palo Alto, California, USA. Our logo represents a Phaecian ship, the type that provided a smooth and pleasant journey over the "wine dark seas" in Homer's ODYSSEE, from early Greek poetry. King Alcinous was leader of the Phaecians, those seafairing people who never feared their open ocean voyages over rough waters, or risk of being lost overboard while enroute. His daughter, the beautiful Princess Nausica, and her handmaidens discovered Odysseus washed up on the beach of the Phaecians. She gave him clothing and escort to the king's palace where he received grand hospitality. We like King Alcinous' and his daughter's style and we try to pattern our services to our clients in that same fabric - so they can traverse rough waters in safety and relative comfort, arriving at their destination rested and peaceful. But with our modern technology, global information management and transportation infrastructures, we give Alcinous greater reign, expanding his territory from the Aegean and the Mediterranean seas to all oceans and lands of this planet.
