- About Us
- AlbumPost was founded in 2003 by a pair of photo enthusiasts. In 2002 we both bought our first digital cameras and instantly fell in love. The ability to take unlimited pictures without worrying about film and developing costs soon led to literally thousands of pictures piling up on our computers collecting (virtual) dust. We wanted to share them with our friends and family but there were too many to print, they were too big to email, and making our own web pages was way too time consuming. The photo printing sites (Shutterfly, Photoworks, Snapfish, etc.) were all focused on selling us prints rather than on displaying our photos.
