Alaskan Premium Seafoods is a Traverse City, MI and Alaskan based family-owned long-line fishing company. All of our seafood is wild, sustainable and flash frozen right on the boat. Taste the difference of Alaskan Premium Seafoods. Alaskan Premium Seafoods, LLC started in 2009 by an Alaskan Fisherman's Wife. Mike Ennenga was a longliner that fished out of Dutch Harbor, Ak for most of the year. While his wife marketed and sold the long-lined fish from the boat to the locals of Northern Michigan. Within a year the company was selling fish throughout the whole state to small cooperative and farmers markets. Mo Boland Ennenga is the owner of the company and is in the process of expanding and reworking the inventory.
After a brief hiatus the company will be reactivating in Northern Michigan, where she had been told they are 'desperate' to the have the high quality sustainable product back in their lives. A strong advocate for high quality fish, none of the products are farmed. All are WILD. Mo now finds finds her fish from small fisherman and fish cooperatives. The methods by which her suppliers catch their fish must be sustainable caught, long lined or jigged. No trawling, or potting.
Most of the inventory is Salmon, Cod and Halibut. The smoked lox are sold to one restaurant in Traverse City. Mo Boland Ennenga will be back May of 2013 and asks that you look for the 'blue label with big fish on it...'
