- The Akron Roundtable was established in 1976 as a community forum through which major corporate executives, writers, politicians, representatives from the arts, and accomplished leaders from various disciplines are invited to present their ideas to interested members of the Akron-area community.
- Roundtable, which meets monthly at the Tangier Restaurant in Akron, Ohio, has become a well-regarded and well-attended community institution. More than 250 speakers, many of them from other parts of the country, have spoken to Roundtable audiences throughout Northeaster Ohio via WKSU-FM.
