Principally, it is about pupils being treated as individuals, valued for their distinctiveness and being encouraged to develop their special talents to the full. It is about belonging to a community where they can be themselves, learn to be with others and grow in knowledge thoughtfulness and confidence. It is about pupils doing well if they can live, work and play in an environment in which they are recognised, appreciated, encouraged and challenged. For these reasons, the pupils themselves, their learning environment, the way they are taught, what and how they learn, are all factors at the very heart of our philosophy.
