- Born and raised in Guangzhou, China, Price began drawing and painting in early childhood. At age 15, she was taught by professors from the Fine Arts Institute of Guangzhou, and by age 16 began participating in major exhibitions of fine arts. Price enrolled in Guangzhou Institute at the age of 26, spending four years studying traditional Chinese painting. She went on to complete a master's degree in fine arts from Parsons school of Design in New York.
