International Flight Training Academy HOME

Description

pulled from site's meta description

AIFA started its operations at George Airport about thirty years ago under the previous name of Cape Flying Services (CFS). In April 2011 the trading name was changed to AVIC-International Flight Training Academy (Pty) Ltd or AIFA, after AVIC-International Holding Corporation became the majority shareholder in the company. Test Flying Academy of South Africa (TFASA) is the other shareholder in this newly formed entity. AIFA receives most of its Chinese cadets from the NUAA-International Flying Academy (NAFA), a joint venture company established in China and invested by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), AVIC International Holding Corporation (AVIC-Intl) and Test Flying Academy of South Africa (TFASA). NUAA Flight Academy is registered in Nanjing City, JiangSu Province, China. With current bases in George and Oudtshoorn headed by an expert consulting team and a professional operating team, AIFA is committed to establishing a quasi-military, professional, international training organization. By August 2013 AIFA will open a 3rd base in the Western Cape and will continue to increase its capacity to reach a capacity of 400 cadets per year by 2015. Our philosophy is to train future leaders by providing high quality training using a modern fleet of aircraft and simulators, airline-based Standard Operating Procedures and a team of highly qualified instructors with worldwide experience.
