- I am a Minnesota farmer and was in need of a Test Weight Scale for my own farm operation, and realized that the only scale available sold for over $200. I wanted an accurate, economical scale that would give the grain producer years of dependable service.
- In 1980, I designed and patented the Berckes Test Weignt Scale, manufactured of tough, durable ABS telephone type plastic. The increments on the scale are pre-calibrated in pounds per bushel and (metric) Kg.
