- The grey wet mist parted as the cold, salt laden wind rushed across the beach into the mountainous green of the dark forest. Ancient giant trees merging into a dark green wall barely visible in the swirling fog, an unbroken dark and wet place ending against the sheer grey wall of the mountains to the north.
- The ancient little man rubbed the salty wetness from his grey peppercon hair, his leathery brown skin, cracked and goose- pimpled in the cold. He looked in wonderous amazement as the huge beast scooped the silver fish from the swirling white froth and foam amongst the kelp.
