- Joy Germanos, MSW, LCSW, PIP has been a licensed social worker since 1996 by the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Auburn University and her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama. She has extensive experience working with families in our community in the areas of mental health, adoption and counseling. She ascribes primarily to a Cognitive-Behavioral therapeutic approach. She has also been trained in neurofeedback, and currently is the only neurofeedback provider in this area. She is a provider for most major medical insurance companies.
