I know that addiction may seem like a never ending cycle of loneliness, despair, and hopelessness-not only for the addict/alcoholic, but for the family and friends as well. I know, because I am a recovering heroin addict and alcoholic. I thought I was just hurting myself. I failed to realize how much I was hurting the ones I loved most. THERE IS HOPE.
