Accents was founded by Denis Bonenfant - a native of France and fluent in French, English, Italian and German. Denis began his career in the language world as a freelance translator and a leisure travel interpreter. His quick wit, entrepreneurial spirit, technical adeptness and desire to improve upon the quality of language services he witnessed led him to Accents. In 1995 he and his wife started Accents in San Diego, California, USA where it is still head quartered.
