- Absolute Capital was established in early 2001 by its founders; Deon Joubert and Michael W Devlin. On 2 April 2004, ABN AMRO Australia Limited ("ABN AMRO"), a wholly owned subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank NV, acquired a 50% interest in Absolute Capital Group Limited. The remaining 50% is held by Absolute Capital Management Holdings Limited which represents the interests of founders and staff.
