I have been interested in photography for many years as a hobby, but never thought about making a career out of it. For 13 years, I earned a living as a veterinary technician because I have always loved being around animals and found that career extremely rewarding. After moving and becoming a stay-at-home mom, I was able to focus more on my nature/landscape photography and upgrading my equipment from film to digital. I also graduated from the New York Institute of Photography during this time.
