The Spanish Grand Prix, America’s Cup and All about Valencia

ONE thing or not just one thing but several things that I don’t get tired writing over and over again about Valencia is its real estate development and the causes leading to it. One of the causes is the Spanish Grand Prix of the Formula One to be held no less than this summer. Major thoroughfares around the port area will be converted to a race track that’s why construction of condominiums and high end subdivisions there are currently in full swing. Even though Valencia doesn’t have the skyscrapers as tall as the ones in Benidorm, it is the hippest and the most urban city in Spain and it is located in the Mediterranean. Then by the summer of 2009, America’s Cup will have a courtesy call in Valencia so this early, all the five star hotels in the city are already fully booked during the dates of both events.
