Even though alcohol has been utilized in a variety of ways throughout history that can be called "beneficial," interestingly, it was also realized thousands of years ago that abusing alcohol and excessive drinking could lead to damaging personal and social problems.
The Need For Positive Change
Since mankind has known about the positive as well as the detrimental effects of alcohol for hundreds, if not thousands of years, why is it that millions of people worldwide suffer from so many drinking problems? More to the point, why do so many people in our modern, more “enlightened,” and more technologically advanced and aware world continue to experience the unhealthy, devastating, and in some situations, the deadly consequences of excessive drinking, alcohol abuse, binge drinking, and alcohol dependency? Apparently mankind does in fact need more alcohol awareness!
