THE AERA MANDATE
AERA Creative Inc. was established on four seemingly simple principles;
IMAGINE
The ability to imagine is what breaths new life into design. It is the foundation, the root and the internal structure to which everything else is built upon. As creative minds, we at AERA are aware of the changing world around us and we feel it is crucial to meet this future with new and innovative perspectives.
DREAM
The ability to dream is what inspires our goals, secures our vision and fuels our determination. It pushes us to approach each project with a distinct level of dedication and commitment to it’s success and in turn enabling us to dream big but start small.
INSPIRE
The ability to inspire is what guides our approach from conception to realization. Design is, in its truest form, a message and we at AERA feel that this message can be more than a selling point. It is a tool to provoke change. A method to deliver ideas and a vehicle to inspire others.
CREATE
The ability to create is what sets us apart. AERA is built upon the foundation of collective collaboration bringing forth unique perspectives based upon our own individual artistic training, experiences and expertise. It's through this open forum that we can effectively develop upon the foundation of the first three principles, bringing structure and form to the project at hand.

In todays day and age, going green isn’t an option it is a social responsibility.
AERA Creative realizes that the advertising industry is a major contributor to the consumption of natural resources and we feel that it’s our duty to do what’s necessary to help balance the pendulum back in nature’s favor.
What we are doing
The AERA office uses Bullfrog Power - as our power supplier, guaranteeing us green, carbon-free power from clean, emissions-free sources like wind power and low-impact water power. Bullfrog sources power exclusively from generators who meet or exceed the federal government's Environmental Choice™ Program EcoLogo™ standard for renewable electricity. In addition AERA also uses CFL light bulbs ( Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs ) to shine light in our offices helping to reduce our own draw on daily power consumption. This coupled with energy smart daily practices helps us to sleep better at night knowing that we are making an effort to do our part.
AERA proudly uses Netfirms hosting as our choice for web based hosting, for ourselves and our clients. Netfirms has launched their own Netfirms Green program - with a strict mandate to reduce energy consumption, landfill contributions, fuel emissions and chemical usage in their data centers and offices.
In our industry, paper is a daily source of consumption from internal daily business practices to the numerous advertising methods we promote. AERA Creative is doing our part internally to help turn our office into a paper less environment by turning to secure online and software based time management and corporate accounting solutions. We also advocate a weekly in-house recycling program for any renewable resources we do consume.
Huge leaps and bounds have been made in the past few years in regards to an increased quality in recycled paper stocks and AERA is proud to promote these solutions to our clients. Paper suppliers such as Neenah Paper - exceed green standards by producing recycled stocks that are green seal certified, processed chlorine free, made from the use of renewable energy and lastly as a member of the Chicago Climate Exchange their voluntary involvement legally binds them to high standards in greenhouse gas emission reduction and trading systems.
At AERA all of our promotional and collateral material are made from sources that feel the same way we do about the environment. From sustainable organic cotton t-shirts and soy ink printing to company’s like Neenah who are taking big steps to forge a new era in energy and natural resource consumption.
We believe that today is a new AERA, one that requires us to keep our eyes open and not blind to our role in our environment. We are committed to continuing our search for new eco-friendly resources and we hope that our clients will feel the same.
