Welcome to the Abingdon Community Unit School District 217 webpage. Abingdon CUSD #217 serves families and citizens in an 89-square mile area. The district includes two attendance centers for students in grades Pre-K through 12. Enrollments for the 2008-2009 school year were as follows: Hedding Elementary- 303; Abingdon Middle School - 176; and Abingdon High school – 247. High school students choose from a curriculum including dual credit and vocational courses.
