The USGBC is a non-profit organization that promotes sustainability in how buildings are designed, built and operated. The USGBC, in an effort to transform the “built” environment to sustainability, developed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Certification process, also known as LEED. AATC has currently registered the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for the LEED Existing Building Operations and Maintenance Certification process.
