Aargent Telecomm was formed in 1999 by Brent Swanson. As a recent Duquesne University graduate he wanted to explore the entrepreneurial desires that had built up throughout his educational career. With a strong mechanical aptitude, Brent realized that too many communication firms were overlooking the importance of physical cable infrastructure design. As the 90's were ending he saw larger bandwidth requirements opening the doors to new technology and innovations.
