5050 Rights is a social networking resource for parents involved in custody issues to connect with others in their states or provinces, to bring about positive changes in custodial/family law. The three main focuses of the site include: 1. Joint physical and legal custody is in the best interest of all parties (unless abuse or neglect). 2. Adoptions should not take place without the knowledge and consent of both biological parents. 3. When a parent kidnaps a child/hides the child from the other parent to deny the parent and child a relationship and parent-time, it should be considered a crime, and should be prosecuted and punished as such.
