This is what we know about how crooked Dave Nienberg is:
Looking for a JOB and need to save your money? If you answered YES, then stay away from Shadowshopper. Shadowshopper claims they can find everyone a job, but in reality they charge you for absolutely nothing.
What happens when you sign up for Shadowshopper? You are guaranteed to get lots of Spam and NO JOBS!
Shadowshopper allows consumers to sign up for the first month for a pretty cheap rate, but then without your permission or knowledge they will charge you $59.00
"I tried to call them, but got a recorded message that directed me to email the company with any questions I may have. So I emailed some guy named Jonathon who emailed me back with a reply that reiterated all the terms and conditions and he basically stated, in his own words, that I “ knew full well what the terms and conditions were, agreed to them and have none to blame but myself.” He ended the email with ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I have no other recourse except to alert others through Rip-off Report. Up to then, I had actually been interested in renewing my membership to a 90-Day membership but Jonathon couldn't have cared less." says one consumer on RipOffReport.com.
I recently submitted a trial membership for Shadowshopper.com. which was $5 or a similar small amount. I looked at my bank statement and there was a WITHDRAWAL FROM MY ACCOUNT (unauthorized) of $59, which is the charge for a year’s membership to this website.
I immediately contacted my bank letting them know this was an unauthorized charge. I have sent several emails to Shadowshopper.com and have not had any replies.
I also find it ironic that this company who solicits jobs for rating customer service in other companies has such poor customer service. I have found their customer service department one of the poorest I have ever had to deal with.
”They hide membership cancellation instructions to prevent people from ending their subscription, thereby automatically signing them up for a year and charging unapproved upon fees.” says Jolynn.
THE BBB NOW REPORTS 169 COMPLAINTS AGAINST SHADOWSHOPPER WITHIN THE LAST 36 MONTHS.
