- About 3D Community
- 3D Community was launched on November 28, 2002 to provide a place for 3D artists to display their work for exposure, feedback and inspiration. The whole website began as an exercise for PHP programming and ended up in what you see here. I've been inspired by PhotoSig and thought it would be a good idea to have something similar for 3D images. After the site was done I found out, that there were already a few similar websites on the net, like Renderosity for example, but one more or less does not matter. 3D Community has evolved with time, many features have been added and the layout has been changed a few times as well, and will hopefully keep evolving in the future.
