2nd New Haw was first registered in 1974 and can be recognised by our scarlet scarf. We were founded by Scouters and Parents who were kean to offer Scouting to as many young men in New Haw as possible. Since then both 1st and 2nd New Haw Scout Groups have offered Scouting to the local community. The local council offered to rent us land near Heathervale Recreation Ground on which to build our HQ. Over the next few years the group's parents constructed the hut we still use today.
