The first time I drove down Hornbeck Avenue it was February, snowing, and just starting to get dark. This was a quiet and gentle snow as the really nice ones can be. Of all the houses that I looked at, this house made the less 'noise'. Maybe that was the attraction. The street was odd and stopped short which made it quirky. The immediate previous owner, based on my limited recall, was a fiesty man from Brooklyn that had the use of only one leg.
