When and how did you first discover you had the gift to help people?
- At the age of 4 upon awakening from a nap, I saw an Arch Angel at the foot of my bed in prayer. When she saw that I was seeing her she some how told me not to be afraid, which of course I was. I blinked and tried to scream and she was gone. She was real, very very real. That was my first experience with metaphysics and the paranormal phenomena.
- I had a difficult childhood. My brother was sick and always in need of attention. So, I grew up playing a lot by myself and in the world of fantasy. I was a horse nut and wanted very much to be a veterinarian. My father squashed that idea by informing me that there are no women vets. I wish I had questioned that, but, I didn't. I was always very artistic and in 7th grade I went to study art with a rather famous artist in a University near my home town. This was only offered to the exceptionally gifted art students. Then, I wanted to be an artist, but, again my father told me that "you'll starve as an artist", so that too went out the window. I kept my intuitive knowings and ability to see the unseen worlds to myself. I communicated with my dogs and my horse. I knew not to tell my father. But, my Grandmother, an Irish immigrant who could speak in Gaelic, always had a group of women in her kitchen seated around the kitchen table reading tea leaves . She was so cool and I think that the my gift is from her side. My brother and sister died by the time I was 14 and my father by the time I was 20. I went to college in Washington and then went to the University of Madrid where I lived for about 3 years and met my husband, a Spanish medical student. We came to the U.S., he did his residency and went into practice in Florida. We had 3 beautiful children. I stayed married for 20 years the filed for divorce and eventually moved to Colorado and have been here ever since 1996. I was always working giving readings and studying metaphysics since my marriage in 1969. I only started charging though since 1996. ( I never needed to work before that). I did my animal thing in spite of my father, but, in a different way. I have 9 dogs ( but have had as many as 15) and 2 horses. So you see, I still got that desire to have and work with animals out of my system. Never remarried...been there, done that. I love my freedom.
How did you get started in this business?
- I've always known things & have seen the unseen worlds. I can't remember a specific incident, except the angel though and I was 4 then, also a premonition about my brothers death ... it was a recurring dream for years and also my fathers death, I went ballistic trying to call him and speak with him while he was having his heart attack... I knew something was very wrong.
Do you offer special services or insights that customers might find helpful?
- Apparently I have been successful in finding lost things, be it wallets, keys or cats... I am always in awe of and happy when I have a "good hit". I can't answer how I know but, I do.
- If I have a special gift, perhaps it is knowing what the client needs to hear for his or her own particular growth.
What times are you usually available?
- I'm available almost every evening and many times during the day.
