Do you have a motto or favorite quote that guides you?
- KISS - Keep It Simple Sweetheart™ - In all things, this is her motto. Life should be fun and life can be easy, but we as humans have a tendency to make things more complicated than need be. If we start with the basics and build on from there, we can easily utilize all the tools The Creator gave to us to achieve anything and everything we want.
- The daughter of a physician father and a mother who was an RN, Betsy grew up working in the medical field. She began exploring alternative healing practices (energy healing, aromatherapy, hypnotherapy), and worked to introduce those modalities to the physicians for whom she worked. In 2004, she hung up her hat as a Medical Office Manager after 30 years in the field. She now works full time as a Spiritual Counselor, and as the Program Administrator for Angel Therapy Inc.
- She has been married for 30 years, has 2 grown children, 1 grown step-son, and hopes to become a grandma at some point. She love animals, reading fiction (mainly mysteries), spectator sports, and visiting with friends.
When and how did you first discover you had the gift to help people?
- Betsy is the first in her family to step out of the psychic closet and do this work full time. She comes from a long line of intuitive females who believed more in 'coincidence' than they did in psychic or intuitive awareness. A believer in mental telepathy for as long as she can recall, Betsy's first strong awareness came as a teenager when she awoke from a sound sleep, knowing that a friend had received a strong electrical shock. As she became more aware of the information she received through psychic channels, she began to trust more deeply the psychic 'hits' she was receiving.
How did you get started in this business?
- One day, while looking for a specific book on hypnotherapy in her home office, a book called Healing With The Angels by Doreen Virtue fell off the shelf and hit her in the head. She did not buy that book. No one in the family bought that book. She was not 'into' angels. However, she does not believe in coincidences, so she read the book and immediately connected with the teachings. She looked up the author's website, and arranged to do one of the weekend workshops nearby. She eventually went on to take the ATP® certification course, the Mediumship Mentorship Program, and the Professional Spiritual Teachers Trainings.
Do you have any advanced degrees or specialized training?
- Certified ANGEL THERAPY PRACTITIONER®, certified Medium, certified Hypnotherapist, Level 3 Reconnective Healing Practitioner, Spiritual Response Therapist, ordained SHES Minister.
Do you offer special services or insights that customers might find helpful?
- She believes in empowering her clients, so her counseling sessions also involve teaching and instruction of how to work with the angels.
Do you do any charity or non-profit work?
- As she is guided to, but nothing on a regular basis. Her support to non-profit/charitable organizations is financial. She is a strong supporter of Silent Unity (SilentUnity.org), Old Dog Haven (OldDogHaven.org), Pigs Peace Sanctuary (PigsPeace.org) and other animal/environmental organizations.
Why do you love what you do?
- It's a calling - It's natural - When you wake up in the morning and are excited that you get to go to work - you know you are doing what you are meant to do. This is what I'm meant to do.
