- Junction11 was the idea of Francisco Doregos in the late 1990s. He named it simply 'J11', after the nearby M4 interchange, and operated out of two rooms at the Students' Union's Bulmershe office. Initially broadcasting by induction loop to Mojo's Bar and Caféondial on the Whiteknights Campus, this was later extended to Breeze Bar (then 'Kata Kiu' or 'Legends'), despite the studio only being next door!
